Embarrassing issue (TMI Sorry!!!) 😫 💩

It does sound like it could be haemorrhoids 😞 are you able to see/feel a bump or anything there? I would definitely discuss with your midwife, and don’t worry about being embarrassed. Midwives literally wipe away poo during birth and it’s nothing to them, so they won’t think anything of talking about it. Also, haemorrhoids are apparently very common during pregnancy, so I’m sure your midwife has heard it all before. If you really don’t want to speak to your midwife about it, I would speak to your GP (if your GP is anything like mine, you’ll get an initial telephone appointment which should hopefully make it a bit easier to talk about!). Totally get why you don’t want to discuss it, I would be the same. But at the same time you can’t let yourself be in discomfort for the rest of your pregnancy ❤️

Nothing to be embarrassed about, pregnancy isn't glamorous! Could deffo be haemorrhoids, maybe you aren't able to wipe fully because of them? Have you tried washing with water or even baby water wipes? I made my husband install a bidet hose next to our toilet haha but next best thing would be a jug? See if you clean like that if you are still having the same issue then you'll know if you are leaking or if it's just difficult to clean properly around the haemorrhoids x

Sounds like when I had haemorrhoids. Felt like I was pooping glass! Went to the GP and they gave me pessaries that cleared it up in a couple of days. Don’t be embarrassed going to the doctor, they’ve seen it all before and so worth it to get it cleared up! Very normal in pregnancy too
