Toddler sling/seat

I keep seeing the senarah sling for carrying toddlers. I quite like the idea… as mine loves to be up and carried, doing the things that I’m doing - but just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or reviews on them?

I don’t have the senarah I have the wild ride one, and it’s super useful as our lg doesn’t like the pram much now it’s harder to use in the winter due to layers of coats which are slidey (just my opinion) but I used it loads until coat weather came, I will say the senarah looks as if it could be slightly comfier where the strap sits on your shoulder where as mine is neck/shoulder and digs in after a while so I can use it upto an hour or so before I need my girl to walk again she loves it

Thanks - this is useful to know. Have the exact problem as mine seems to have given up on the pram too, as far as I can see! Not worth the stress of trying to use it. Thanks, I’ll look at the one you’re mentioning too.

I was looking at these, and also Tush Baby. Baby wearing groups I looked at said you might as well get a ring sling as then it's hands free, and also good for quick up and downs. I'm using a toddler carrier at the moment to do back carrier, but it's the constant up and downs around the house I can find hard. I'm thinking of going to see sling library to try a ring sling.

@Rachael thanks - would that be for an over 2 year old? Good thinking about the sling library actually!

Yes, i believe so. But might make sense to think ahead to preschool age too and I'm not so sure about that. sling library would be good to chat through the options.

Apparently most ring slings can carry up to 35lb, the average weight of a 3 year old.

I just wonder if the ring sling becomes too enclosed for this age though

I wondered that too, but have seen some photos on websites that seem to show you can have their arms and shoulders pretty free. Like this one: https://images.app.goo.gl/3zcgdz1MU6DoGQYi6 Can definitely see how easy the senarah is though!

Okay, that’s good to know. Thanks
