Did you hold onto some weight while breastfeeding?

With my first I dropped a good amount of the weight and was almost back to pre baby weight. This second kid though I feel like I’m holding onto like 10-15 lbs no matter what I do I feel like I can’t drop it

I'm 13 months postpartum and haven't lost any weight since a week after birth. I don't think I will lose any until I wean. I workout daily and eat healthy and I know my muscle tone is back but it is what it is

I did lose weight while BF but having said that I’m out and about nearly every day, I take him out so I easily hit 10-12k steps daily, (14k on weekends)…. I’m never home as a sahm. I think that helped. He’s my 3rd.

16m pp and I haven’t lost any weight other than right after birth and I had already gained it back plus more a few months pp. I am still breastfeeding quite a bit

I was the same and once I stopped breastfeeding I went back down to my pre pregnancy weight. I think breastfeeding makes you so hungry and you need to keep up with eating etc it is actually harder to lose weight

@Leah this makes me feel better😅

That's what I'm telling myself, but really it's probably all the cake.

During pregnancy I suffered with HG and after birth I was actually 1.5 stone lighter than when I git pregnant. I've been breastfeeding for almost 1 year, and I've gained over 2.5 stone! X

@Brooke same!! 😭

Im 6 months pp and I didn’t lost anything actually I gained. I start diet 2 weeks a go, I was scared to lose my milk supply but actually I’m all good and I lost 4kg already. I’m not doing a crazy diet, but I’m careful what to eat.

I lost loads in the first year (2.5 stone) but once she dropped to one feed a day it's all gone back on with extra.

I bounced right back after my first 2 without breastfeeding. Then after baby 3&4 I went up to a size 12. I'm now 6 months into breastfeeding baby Nr 5 and back into size 8. However I'm very active (obviously with 3 under 4) and I don't generally eat until they're all in bed 😅
