It’s a super common experience to get sick while pregnant! Our immune systems are down while pregnant, so illnesses can feel extra nasty even if it’s something simple that a partner or kid brought home. If you have a fever or any concerns it’s always worth reaching out to your doctor, but it’s definitely super super common! Last month I had a fever for a full week so my OB told me to go into urgent care (near the beginning) just out of an abundance of caution - they did a COVID and flu test then just sent me home to take tylenol and rest. Baby is still a-okay :)
I had covid during my last pregnancy. Once at the beginning and then again giving birth. My son is nearly 3 and is absolutely fine. Your baby will be too 🥰
Thanks so much to all of you for the reassurance. Drinking lots of water and hopefully it will pass very soon xx
Keep dosed up on paracetamol, plenty of fluids and remember no ibuprofen or decongestants
I had awful norovirus with my second when I was about 7 weeks pregnant and it was absolutely fine. My girl is 2 and a half now 🥰
I had Covid when pregnant previously. Unless you can’t keep liquid and food down you will be fine xx
