Has anyone had CPS called on them before for postpartum depression?
CPS came by today. And told us that they were going to be involved because they were concerned for my mental health.
I now have to go to a mental health clinic to be checked out.

Is there a court order to be evaluated? Have you experienced depression in the past? Taken any psychotic meds? If youre in new York call a Brooklyn or Bronx defenders or CFR for guidance.
@Brianna you’re completely right I should have shut my mouth. It was the hospital who called. So right now I’m just going to do everything they ask me to do. This is my 3rd child and there’s no way I would ever think to hurt my child. @Jade no there is no court order. I have experienced depression in the past. And I’ve never been on psychotic medication. Even through depression I’ve never experienced that I need hurt myself or others. I dont live in NY anymore. I live in TX.

It's super sad and annoying that you need to be careful of who you vent to with pre and postpartum depression...cause people will call and make life harder for you instead of just trying their best to be there for you.
