I started on Aptamil however baby started to have issues after a couple of weeks. I looked at cow and gate and SMA and cow and gate had the same ingredients where as SMA excluded oils I think it was so we tried SMA which we didn't have a problem with.
I’ve decided on using kendamil (baby due in May) as it’s the only one (I’ve found) which offers full fat milk over semi skimmed. They also have an organic version of formula
kendamil is really good, also hipp organic ready made (they have cream in the formula)

I like HIPP organic. Kendamil have a shortage, so can often be tricky to get. If I’m honest, it really depends on your baby, and what they agree with.
If you want to go organic, the only organic formula is hipp or kendamil organic. Nutritionally they are all the same. It’s a legal requirement. I wouldn’t stick up on too much formula as not all formulas agree with all babies I personally went for cow and gate because it was cheapest (apart from Aldi) and the most readily available in the shops around us
Legally all formula in the UK has to stick to really strict rules. So a supermarket own brand will be nutritionally as good at the most expensive on the market. But some companies like kendamil use alternatives to cows milk, fish oil and palm oil (which when farmed correctly - biggest issue is it hasn't been in a lot of area and is affecting wildlife- is really good for you).
We started on Kendamil but it was too rich. We tried aptamil comfort but that didn’t alleviate her reflux symptoms and ended up on hipp anti reflux. Smells similar to Kendamil and suited ours fine. I guess baby will tell you which one they want lol

Kendamil is very hard to get hold of at the moment due to a shortage so I’d recommend hipp organic as we’ve had no issues getting hold of that at all
Nutrionally formula has to be the same. The only thing that differs is the ingredients used in them. After switching through different formulas including cmpa formula as we had a suspected allergy (she didn't) we settled on Hipp Organic.
