Taking a towel to hospital ?

Do I need to take a towel to the hospital with me or do they have towels ? I’d rather not have to take another bag 😂

I did with my first because I was induced and in for 5 days, I used it and needed another. Hospital do have them but they’re tiny. This time I’m hoping not to be induced so I haven’t packed one! X

Thank you, I suppose I could maybe pop one in my fiancés bag with the snacks and games 😂 there’s a chance I might be down for induction we aren’t sure yet so that’s good to know in that scenario x

I took a large dark towel and will do the same this time. I’ve got a small case for my stuff and then a small bag for babies stuff. I’m having another c section and after the catheter was removed I felt better having a shower 🫣

They provide towels but they're not big bath ones, just middle sized. Im planning on tying up my hair and just washing my body in hospital so ill just use their towels, then have a good wash when i get home 😄

Yes, I'm taking a towel with me. It's listed on the NHS hospital bag list recommendations.

I would definitely take a towel! I’ve been in for a few stays now and the towels they provided (at my hospital at least) are only a little bigger than a hair towel! 😂 Don’t know how anyone could use it properly, especially us pregnant ladies!😂 Also they are just not the softest, and you want to be nice and comfortable as you are drying, especially after birth when areas will be super sensitive ❤️

This is my third and I’ve been told to take a bath towel every time and any face cloths etc x

I can't remember the hospital having any towels and I definitely did need mine last time. I will be taking one again.

Take one a dark one as theirs are tiny

Yes, I wasn't given one when I had my first
