csection infection

im 11 days post op and developed seromas with cellulitis and i am absolutely miserable and defeated by this whole journey … im warm compressing it and letting it drain on its own into gauzes per doctors order but the healing is looking slow and im so scared itll just get worse bc the wound is still very wet lookkng 😭… has anyone else dealt with something like this too?? ☹️

I had the exact same, it’s miserable and unbearable with having to care and lift a newborn at the same time- all I can say is that it does eventually get better- are you on co amoxiclav too?

Still draining after my C-section on 1/3 I’m so scared… I still have 40ml to drain daily. doctors don’t know when I will be better yet

@Katie yes im on amoxicillin. did u breastfeed?? im ftm and dr said its breastmilk safe but i cant help but womder if my baby is extra gassy and fussy from my breastmilk :/

Aaah that’s good- hopefully they will speed up your recovery, I started off exclusively breast feeding and then ended up combi feeding around that time due to multiple hospital visits x

I had an issue like this now at 18months post partum but no oozing just take it one day at a time my apron is still an issue and it’s just care for it….. I started working out so that’s what caused my issue so just make sure your protecting it
