my daughter does this but smiles when she does it, i gather that it could be a stim for them. But I’m not gonna lie i was a little nervous when she first started it but she just a happy baby

My girl goes this too. She's 8 months, almost 9 months. She is usually smiling when she does it. I just think it's a new "skill" they learn they can do, so they do it just because.
Yessss!!!😆 Now people are questioning Us like something is wrong. I said, that’s normal, he’s fine, they all do that. Lol leave our kids alone!!!😂
my mom told me that a couple of us did it too but can’t remember who ( For context i have 3 other siblings and my youngest sibling is 18)
Yes, mine does it when he’s trying to soothe himself (like he’s getting tired) and when he’s frustrated cause he’s not getting what he wants.
