Sleep

I just want to take a minute to vent. I’m so jealous of other women who have children that can fall asleep anytime/anywhere. Those with babies who sleep overnight, every night. Babies who actually nap or play independently so housework can get finished. Sleep has been the most stressful part of being a parent. I wish it would all just feel easy sometimes. I’m so tired 😞

Oh mama I wish I could help you! If we lived closer! Praying it eases up on you! I totally understand

Hugs 🫂

I'm with ya! Try to remind yourself this is just a season and it will pass. They will slowly become more independent and get better at sleeping. It won't last forever! That helps me...but yes the lack of sleep and getting nothing done suuuuuucksss

Man I read this right after i had to fight to get my 11month old down for his nap. It took an hour and a half of him screaming, crying, nursing, white noise, being rocked, and trying to rip my glasses off before he finally settled down. He's now contact napping because I don't dare try to set him down anywhere.

@Rachael kudos to you to trying that long. I give it 30 min for a nap before I give up

I started sleep training at 4 months and I’m so thankful I did, you can sleep train at any age though, look into the Ferber method that’s what we used, he still wakes up one time a night but I just make a bottle he feeds himself and puts himself back to bed. It is really hard to sleep train because the natural instinct is to go soothe, noise cancelling headphones and a good monitor so you can watch really helps ❤️

Just commenting to say you are definitely not alone! I’m in the same boat it’s so tough. I also remind myself what @Kristen said? This is just a season, it won’t be forever 💛

I was like this with my son. My daughter is the opposite and has been so easy. If it makes you feel better, it’s nothing you’re doing wrong.
