Rubbing ears and no sleep
My little girl since 3 days rubs her ears at night most of the time and has not been sleeping. She moves from all sides while sleeping on bed, cries and doesn’t fall in a deep sleep at all for the whole night waking every half an hour. During the days she rubs her eyes as well. I have been to gp about this problem in the past and they said she was ok but hasn’t been this worse before and now I am getting worried. Anyone experienced this thing?

@SiobhanThank you, I feel relieved to know is a normal thing and not a sign of an ear infection. Does this keeps them awake and gives them discomfort at night time?
She wakes up a few times but does go back to sleep after like 10 minutes. For a while I was giving her teething powder before she went to sleep which helped. She hasn’t had it in a few weeks but she’s currently rubbing her ears in her sleep now 🫣 she also has a dummy not sure if that helps distract her

My LO does this I was told it’s her back teeth moving and they can be doing this for months🫣 but she does it all day not just at night.
