Finally some talking!

He said doggy today and it was so cute. So lovely hearing your little ones voice after having delayed speech. 😭🥰

Praying my son speaks soon! X

@Melanie my little boy has really been trying and saying words now and then. His teeth were delayed too so I think that has made it more difficult for him. Is your little one still teething? X

@Elizabeth yess he didn’t get a tooth till 9 months and is still actively teething xx

@Melanie I think that can cause the delay x

Who has experienced this pls..my Lo sings all her abcs and numbers and nursery rhymes pretty well and clearly even someone who has not been with her can tell what song she is singing but has not yet said any word of communication, doesnot understand any instructions or say sth as basic as mama or dada...im quite sure she doesnt know her name either...its quite a puzzle; i have got a referral for speech therapy. Anyone else experienced this?

Aww bless him, I can’t wait for my son to start talking, he used to say about 15 words but recently he’s decided he doesn’t want to say any of them, he will however make allll the animal sounds and he communicates with some sign language… he does have amazing understanding of anything he is shown how to do. He speaks in baby jargon literally all day, and will have full blown conversations with me about things but I don’t have a clue what he’s talking about and just go with it! Hoping this will turn into words soon 🤞🏽

@Winnie my now 3 and half year old son knew the alphabet from around this age(no numbers or nursery rhymes) but he didn't say a word until 28 months old now he is communicating in 3 or 4 words sentences and just started to sing nursery rhymes. He understood his name. Instructions only after a few repeat. He is under ASD assessment.

Congratulations little one😍 He is so cute 😍 He will get there, it's the best thing ever to hear them talking ❤️
