Mylicon drops help my love everytime.
For some reason mine always farts if I do bicycle kicks, then put my thumbs behind his knees put his knees up to his tummy and then slightly lift his hips. And then do windmills with his legs, side to side. Then after I cycle through those exercises I put him on my thighs, sitting on the bed with my knees bent. He always farts and poops at this angle Also drinking fennel tea, with ginger helps too. My mom did this with me as a baby and I’ve done it with mine and it works!
Also there’s a small chance his gas is due to a food allergy. Are there days that you notice are really bad and you’ve eaten a specific thing all those days or the day before?
If i notice he's a little more uncomfortable one day I'll start in the morning and give it to him after every feed just to get things moving, helps everytime!
Yes to mylicon drops or gripe water I also mentioned this to my provider when it started for us and he mentioned I should try taking a probiotic vitamin as well to help my digestion so helping me help her kind of.
my baby is breastfed so i stopped eating dairy and that helped as well as mylicon drops ( his doctor recommended them)
also if baby is breastfed then cutting out whatever you eat most (dairy, carbs, etc.) for at least 2 weeks to see if there’s a difference. that’s what his doctor recommended me and after i cut dairy out he’s been much less gassy (i’m lactose intolerant so makes sense)
Gripe water helps my lil guy so much when he has gas stuck and hiccups!
breast or formula fed? sometimes cutting out dairy or switching formula helps
Mylicon drops helps my baby as well the other day he was really fussy and his stomach hurt just gave it to him and he slept good throughout the night
When my son is really bad I put the thermometer in his butt like if I was checking his temp and it helps him. Also helps him poop.
I've tried gripe water with both my kiddos and it's a lifesaver! If you find yourself using it frequently you can also try probiotic drops as a preventative
