We had the same problem. They really dont help. My husband had to literally mention that so many times and now they do clear her
Even at home when I keep on top of my kids noses they still end up with dried on snot sometimes. Pre schools have lots of children and they're generally really busy through the day so I personally wouldn't question it.
Personally not too picky with this as nurseries have so many children and a ratio so must be hard. They have to think about nappies, potty, injuries, watching them all, activities etc.. the nose is bottom of the list and I'm fine with that 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for your reply’s Think I’ve just got to maybe let it go and have the wet wipes handy when I pick her up x
@Ann today they had 14 children and 6 members of staff I think that’s why I’m not to happy about it and she’s only been their a few weeks so she’s still settling in as well so not sure she’d be confident enough to ask for help either and my eldest daughter Works in a reception class in a school and she still wipes noses x
You should have a chat with them. Otherwise they will not bother
I don't think they have the time ...and i am like you - have this OCD with runny nose 🙈 so we kept hammering into our daughters head to blow and wipe her nose and she pretty much does it herself these days. We have taught her to use the tissue effectively and gain independence. Less stress overall.
Ask nursery yourself if you're worried about it? Honestly the way kids noses get when they are ill I'm not suprissed - my LO has got one currently and it's ended up like that around 5 times already today! I wouldn't be questioning it personally:)
