Toddler plsying independently

So my son is 16 months and a half and except some days when he has tooth pain or is in a grumpy mood he is very happy playing on his own for ages. Obviously I don't mind that, but just wondering if that's ok? I feel guilty at times because I have to clean, cook, do some other chores and yesterday I realised he played on his own for like 2 hours in the afternoon. Is this ok or will it affect him?

Children learn through play, if he’s happy playing on his own then let him. I’m jealous, my daughter is still very much a Velcro girl😂

My little one (17 months at the end of the month) used to be the same but now she plays a little then comes and engages with me then goes off to play again. My first born was fussy and clingy so I personally love it 😅

Being able to play independently is soooo good for them ☺️ He must just be super secure and knows you’re there if he needs you 🥰

Thanks for the replies everone, surely makes me feel better. He does enage with us, lots of eye contact so I don't think he's autistic or anything but was still a bit worried
