Cradle cap

Hello! My 3 month old has a bit of cradle cap, bless her! It’s not really bad but I would like to try and get it cleared up, if possible. I used the Kokoso coconut oil at first but I found it smelt amazing when first applied but then bad after a while! I then researched and purchased the Colief - some did say it also smelt funny but I have tried it anyway and it gives off the same after-smell! Kinda like vomit smelling! Anyway, wondered if anyone had any suggestions or has managed to combat it with anything else? Thanks :)

I tried the Frida system - you can use it with or without oils/ shampoo etc. it seems to have made a massive difference for us so far, but only early days.

I lathered his head in pure coconut oil for about 15 mins, then used the frida flake fixer and it was all gone within one go!

I used the Frida kit too, that worked amazing for my son 😊

I use the mustela cradle cap shampoo with the Frida 3-1 sponge and comb, it has worked really well my sons cradle cap was bad now it’s nearly gone x

also used the frida kit, i used baby oil instead of coconut oil. it did take like 2 sessions but it did go x (i know sessions isn’t the right word but i can’t think of the right word 🤣🤣)

Ooh amazing thanks all!

Yep the Frida flake system for us and no product! Worked amazing, only needed to use the once!…and it’s satisfying if you’re into stuff like that 😂

Honestly I just used breastmilk and within 3 days it was completely cleared up. I’d put breastmilk in his bath and just brush through his hair with a soft baby brush. And then brush it again after he got out to lift up the flakes. Haven’t seen it since and that was over a month ago :)

Olive oil or if you have breast milk Brest milk.

we used the koko head cream!

My baby had desperate cradle cap. Only thing that worked was Vaseline. Leave it soak for 10 mins and then use a fine tooth comb and wash it out

We use the kokoso and I agree it smells great say one but not so great the next, I’m just putting up with it as it’s working so well and doesn’t need to go on every day
