Mastitis feel sick, worried

Yes, the first time I had mastitis, I struggled with nausea, dizziness, fever, and general feeling very unwell in my body. Hope you feel better soon xx

Thankyou guys for commenting, I'm sorry you were both poorly with this too. I've got a 10 day course of antibiotics, my little girl has stopped breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago, and for some reason it's been the last 2 days I've had this and I feel very unwel

It was week 2 postpartum for me when I switched to formula for a lot of reasons, and I though this was normal ☠️ The antibiotics helped so much fairly quickly so hopefully they do the same for you! ❤️‍🩹

@Sara please can I ask- what were the symptoms for your breast that was infected? As mine isn't as hard and lumpy anymore, just very sore to touch and has one small lump in, but feel very unwell, achy, fever, nauseous and was sick too xx

The first time, it was hard for a few days and a bit sore, but then it felt less hard, but got very sore, red, inflamed, and warm to the touch, and it wad very painful to BF.

It was quite tender and sore and hard to feed or express on that side but didnt have the usual symptoms like the redness or noticeable lump. But had all the same sickness feelings. Its grim!!
