Tips to deal with constant nausea?

I am 9 weeks right now. I don’t necessarily have “morning sickness” but I am in a state of constant nausea. Food does not sound good hardly ever and when I do eat, it only sits well for about thirty minutes before my stomach is twisting and on the verge of making me throw up. Any tips on how to combat this?

i would try this - have crackers and water near your bed for when you wake up peppermint oil i also took nausean for a little bit

I was told to eat ginger/ginger biscuits drink ginger beer etc. Now as someone who hates ginger I couldn't stomach that, and I also had constant nausea. The thing I personally found helped the most (didn't stop me feeling nauseas but certainly helped the severity) was buying a set of travel sickness wrist bands. I was sceptical about it working but for me, the difference between wearing them and not was quite significant

I was dealing with this for a while - it did randomly go away and hasn’t come back for over a week so fingers crossed that happens for you! Tbh there wasn’t a ton I found that helped. Chewing on fruity gum helped a bit when I was feeling nauseous after a meal, mostly just to distract me from the feeling I think. Also making sure I ate smaller portions than I normally would; it was super annoying but I would always have a better time later if I stopped eating well before I actually felt full. If I ate to the point of fullness, I’d always feel extremely nauseous half an hour later

Yup, I was nauseous and sick constantly until I hit about 16 weeks. Definitely a lot of crackers, plain toast and bland carbs helped. But also I took Unisom & b6 every day, it was the only way I could function tbh. Also preggie pops helped, it’s a sour candy you can get off of amazon!

I ate cheese itz my whole first trimester all day long. Not healthy but it got me through it.

The thing that helped me was to take a breath mint (I took mentos clean breath) right after eating every meal or snack and at night (I would honestly have like 5 or more). But it really helped with the nausea. I tried ginger candy and that didn’t work at all just made it worse for me.

Popsicles, saltine crackers, and Chomps are the only things that help me

Try the ginger hard candies and chewing on gum and see if it helps but if not talk to your provider. I had to get a prescription for nausea from week 16. I’m 36 weeks and still taking it, if I don’t I’m nauseous all day.

I am 13 weeks and have had horrible nausea and landed myself in the ER a couple of times for dehydration due to hyperemesis. I feel you girl, I miss enjoying food!! My partner/baby daddy is a med professional and prescribed me doxylamine. You can get it over the counter at the pharmacy, it’s B6 pyridoxine. I can’t function without it now. I would ask your OB for a zofran script at the very least, it’s pregnancy safe, on a really bad day I take 4mg before and after eating.

Zofran will literally save you. I haven’t thrown up at all. (10 weeks in). Fingers crossed I never throw up but that and eating protein throughout the day helps

ICY COLD water. I mean as cold as you can stand it. Preggy pops also helped me, life changing! I also found that taking my prenatal at night instead of in the morning helped a ton too.

I did really small servings of plain yogurt w fruit until I could stomach more. I found that eating protein every 2-3 hours really helped. I never wanted to eat it, but when I would eat protein I wouldn't get into that horrible nausea state. Tiny meals frequently and lots of ice cold ginger ale in between. Also did nothing but rest and tried to distract myself w TV / phone games. You've got this 🙏
