Self-feeding baby

My baby is 7 months and I feel like she should be able to feed herself a bottle now? She can somewhat hold it, but with the bottles I use (see below), idk if that’s possible cuz they seem a little heavy for her. Any tips on what to do, like switching to wider/shorter bottles? Or is it too early to teach her self-feeding?

My baby is 7 month old and she can hold the bottle to chew the nipple but I do not expect her to feed herself right now. Might be too early… Some baby might be able to do it but I don’t think it’s an expectation. If anything they should learn to grab finger foods and bring to their mouth

I think this is more like 9 or 10 months

My baby found the dollar bottles from Walmart the easiest to hold. He’s able to hold it and put it in his mouth but he doesn’t understand to just lift the bottle up to get the rest of the milk out. I’d say give it a few more months and you can try to see if baby can. If baby can’t, by 10 months maybe try a lighter bottle.

My baby is also seven months I use the same bottle he isn’t able to self feed I try to show him he doesn’t try to even do it lol but when the milk is finish he holds the bottle and chew the nipple and play with it but I think it’s good to give them the bottle so they can play with it and get used to holding it

@Kadiatou lol my baby does the exact same thing!

Como Tomo bottles 🥰
