Bump updates

I’d like to think everything is okay girl❤️ I also have a big bump and it has been that way since 25 weeks! 🥰

May also be extra bloat etc I get told I look 'large' all the time and my little girl is measuring small so try not to worry 🥰🥰

I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead and the baby isn't even big so I wouldn't worry x

@Nadia people are always telling me I look large and it’s actually starting to get to me, it’s actually making me worry a little bit that maybe he’s too big!😫 xx

I'm 28 weeks and prob all the same sort of size as you and at my growth scan we found the baby is small 🙈 So I wouldn't worry too much about the size of your bump tbh. I was huge on all 3 of my previous pregnancies and the largest baby I had was 7lb 13ozs so not classed as big at all. You could just be carrying a lot of water, I know I did. I'm sure everything will be fine x

@Jenny oh this makes me feel better. I’m so worried I’m going to end up having like a 11lb baby🤣 I think it doesn’t help that people keep commenting on how big I look to be honest. Sending my anxiety through the roof so thank you! Xx

@Lauren I keep thinking the exact same thing. I feel so big and heavy and all I keep thinking is I still got another 13 weeks to go 🤣

@Jasmine literally! Have you been going for growth scans or had your bump measured yet?

I'm on my third baby, 4th pregnancy, and I look like I'm where I was at 8 months pregnant with my others 🤣 and I'm only 27 weeks. As long as they're measuring you at your upcoming or past appointments you're fine l, it just depends on how your body rearranges to support the uterus and your other organs

@Jasmine I honestly wouldn't worry. I don't look at you and think jeeze she's huge! You're carrying neatly too. Some days I look a lot bigger than others too, think it depends on where baby is lying etc. If people aren't used to seeing you pregnant cos they don't see you regularly then they're bound to think your big too. Good luck with the scan next week x

@Lauren I have my first growth scan next week. When I was 20 weeks he was measuring perfect so I’d like to hope he is still measuring just right! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I haven’t had my bump measured yet but I have a midwife appointment at the start of feb so I think she will probably measure it then! X

@Jasmine I've my midwife appointment next week so hopefully I'll know more myself. Just want to make sure they're growing properly!

@Jasmine honestly I've had exactly the same. People keep saying to me "the baby must be huge" or "you must be ready to give birth now". I'm 28 weeks, measuring 32. They are going to send me for a gestational diabetes test in case. But it's likely that it's just the fluid and me putting on a bit more weight than most in pregnancy. Everyone's body is so different. I just tell people to f*** off at this point 🤣 got sick of hearing it xx

@Eleanor it’s the comments like “are you sure it’s only one in there” I don’t know what I’m measuring to be honest I’ll be intrigued to find out. I have a gestational diabetes test on Monday also. I hope yours goes well. At this point in just telling myself it’s that extra bit of fluid around him keeping him safe. Either way he’s happily kicking about everyday so that’s the main thing I guess! Xx

I'm the exact same! Baby was measuring slightly small on 20 week scan but my bump is massive! I keep getting comments about how big I am which I definitely feel like is water and probably general weight gain but it's my first pregnancy so honestly, who knows! I can't get my head around why so many people feel they can comment on body size just because we're pregnant! x

@Jasmine Yeah I've had that one said to me. Exactly, annoyed I have to wait two weeks to have the test I just want to know so I can deal with it if I do have it. My mum said she was big with all her pregnancies so I think I'm just the same. Good luck with your test x

@Annabel I know. I literally walk round telling people I’m fat now because it makes me feel better it coming out my mouth then someone else’s. 🤣 This is also my 1st pregnancy. I’ve had 6 previous losses but never got past the first trimester with them so I question if it’s normal to be this big at this stage but hey I think I just need to start embracing it xx

I was that big at 20wks lol people thought I was having multiples
