Is anyone else really sad that MAT leave is drawing to an end?

I know for a lot of us who are taking a year, we're not quite there yet but, KIT days start for me in March and then I go back at the start of June and I'm honestly heartbroken at the thought. I can honestly say I've enjoyed every minute of MAT leave and I know I'm incredibly lucky to have had almost a full year but, I'm so, so sad that I have to go back to work.

Yep, same 100%. Everyone keeps telling me not to think about it but it's hard when it's so close!!

I go back in 3 weeks😢 I couldn’t do the 12 months as the last 3 months is unpaid and I couldn’t afford that but I wish I didn’t have to go back at all! Xx x

Literally had a catch up with my manager yesterday to organise KIT days for March 😔 heartbroken, can’t believe how quickly time has passed

I absolutely hate that modern day society doesn’t allow us to be stay at home mums/house wives unless we are rich. I would do anything to be able to say home with my baby, cook proper food and home school her but we just can’t afford it ☹️ xx
