Have you tried putting a hot water bottle and something you've worn in there before you place her in? It seems to help some babies. Also waiting til she's asleep deeply enough before putting her in there.

Same as you! 😅

What we have done with all of ours, is take the mattress out, lay it on the bed, and i breastfeed them laying down on the mattress. 9 out of 10 they fall asleep. Then my OH and i grab a corner of the mattress and move them into the cot and do the zip up. Doesn't work perfectly every time, but more often than not they get off to sleep for a while.

@Kirsty oh Kirsty, you might be onto something!!

@Audrey being a third time mum has to come with some experience, right?! 🥴😅 I have no clue about lots of things, but i can help with 5% of enquires 😂

We seem to be able to get him in his next to me for the first night time stint but no chance on the second so also cosleeping which we want to stop 🥴😖

We have been having same issue with our week old he hadn’t slept in next to me or Moses basket since he came home. Today has done some time in his Moses basket we put a t shirt under neath tucked in. I have also ordered a love to swaddle swaddle and a halo one to try

@Claire i got a love to dream swaddle and she HATES that even more🤣😭

When you pop baby into the next to me, hold them close up on your shoulder and lean for into it, then make sure feet go down first and head last so it doesn't trigger their startle reflex! Then put your hand on their chest for a few mins so they still feel close. That method is working well for us! x

Ours will sleep in the moses basket (downstairs) but not in the snuzpod (next to the bed upstairs).. Once he's asleep, we carry the moses basket upstairs and put it into the snuzpod.. just about fits! Midwife suggested it as it's a bit more cosy 🤷‍♀️ xx

She will have a couple of naps in the next me during the day time. I live in a flat so i just move it from the bedroom to the living room in hope that she gets used to it. Some of her naps in there are quite good! I just wish she did it at bed time too

A warm towel put in there before transferring baby. Feet first and hand on chest for a few mins. You could be missing the deep sleep window. It’s all trial and error. It gets easier ❤️

Put one of her blankets, muslins, baby grows under your top and sleep with it or wear it all day, then put her in the baby grow you have had on you and it will smell of you x

We are 15 days too and exactly the same! She’ll do a 4 hour stint in there in the day but nighttime she touches that mattress and kicks off!

@Gigi its like they know😅

Snap and tried most of these things but he only sleeps 30mins and then needs contact napping. I hope this changes at 6 weeks. I'm so tired 😩
