Velcro baby advice?

Looking for any pointers on how to deal with a Velcro baby when the father doesn’t have the patience for it. My son is very attached to me and even more right now since he’s learning to crawl. My husband doesn’t have the patience for his crying and need for us to be in his view at all times. Any pointers? Being wfh with this is proving challenging mentally.

They have clingy phases. I did hear once, children need father's because mothers comfort and hold while fathers give children ability to detach and adventure. Maybe it's just in most our nature 😂. My husband said he could handle being the stay at home parent. Was off work a week while I was dead sick and he lasted 2 days before he exploded
