Has my waters broken? Wasn't a gush

I read if you have a small trickle to put on a pad, go lie down for a while then get up again and see if more comes out when you get back up. You don’t need to go to hospital just because your waters have broken, but you can ringtriage if you want to!

Put a pad on. With my last baby mind started as tiny trickle and just kept going in trickles, I rung cos i was pre term but if your term you can prob wait

I was told to call triage if i think my waters have broken because they need to check if they actually broke and count 48 hours from that moment. in case labour doesn’t happen within that timeframe

I had this today. I wasn’t sure so called and they said to come to the birthing suite. I did a wee sample, she done a swab test and a check to see if there was any pooling in my vagina but confirmed it wasn’t my waters. Midwife was lovely and said it’s best thing to do to come get checked x

Mine broke and I went back to bed. I had mild contractions but managed to get a little sleep. I called triage 6 hours later because I noticed what I thought was meconium in my pad, they told me that when your waters break they like to see you within 4 hours. Good luck! You got this Xx

Midwife said put a pad on and take pictures every time you change it to monitor colour. I would call triage though too as they’ll guide you how long to wait etc x

I dont know what it could have been. Did not feel like a Wee?
