I’ll copy the list I’ve sent to people for endometriosis surgery since it’s similar in terms of what you’ll need! I hope it helps. Fingers crossed for you! -Lipbalm (lips get so dry when intubated!) -Peppermint tea for gas pains (important one!!) -Loose high waist pjs or a nightie -Book or films downloaded in case you’re waiting a while to go in -Pillow to put between your stomach & seatbelt on the drive home (also important one!) -I packed plain biscuits bc they wanted me to eat after surgery & I knew I wouldn’t stomach anything -Big high waist granny pants -Small bag of toiletries -Long phone charger to reach the hospital bed For when you get home I bought a big pack of bottled water to leave some by the bed and some by the sofa so I wouldn’t have to get up often. Also make sure you have adequate pain relief to take home when they discharge you & keep taking it at the start even if you think you feel okay because it’ll hit you like a tonne of
Totally normal
