Anyone had this?

Hi! My babies nose keeps bleeding, I just wanted a bit of advice as I don’t want to waste doctors time, but also don’t want to avoid going if it’s necessary… She woke up on Saturday with just a bit of blood around her nose (no full nose bleed) but I keep having to clean her nose as she gets crusty hard bogeys stuck up there. These are quite obviously bloody as they’re basically black or dark red. But it’s been every day since. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this ? She doesn’t have a cold and has only ever had 2 colds and none recently. She’s 10 months old. Bit unsure what to do and it’s scary seeing blood there every day but she’s fine in herself and no temp or anything!

If a nose bleed without a cold - no harm in getting checked out. My 10mo had one but that was due to his cold. My 2.5yo only gets them when congested (mainly because her finger is always up there 🙄🙄)

@Lauren its just so weird becuase it’s not a full bleed she just wakes up every morning with a ball of dried up blood in her nose like it’s just constantly there!! Im gonna ring doctors this morning but just can’t find anything online about it to reassure me 🥺 xx

Ah Okies - that’s the same with my little one. I just kept an eye on it, put saline spray up the nose to loosen the bogies and try get them out with bogie sucker xx

If you’re worried can always get it checked - hopefully just a little congested and boogers stuck up there xx

My LO is the same. Hasn’t had a cold recently but kept having dried blood up and around her nose. Not sure if it’s normal but I didn’t worry about it because it was dried
