pregnancy test

just looking for advice tbh or if anyone else has experienced the same thing and what their outcome was. i ovulated on the 14th of this month, and 7dpo at about 2pm i tested positive on a cheap 6 day sooner test, but then i took 2 clear blue early tests around 9pm and they were both negative. and took one the next morning and was also negative. i am loosing my mind just thinking it all over. i know i just need to wait till my period comes or is late and i am going to. i’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if their outcome was a happy pregnancy one :) xx

Hormones need to be high in clear blue so could be that. X

@Lena i thought this too so i took another the same brand i got the positive on and it came back negative too xx im thinking that when i took the first test my hormones were on the off chance high enough to pick up and then they dropped again. 🤷‍♀️ just really hoping it wasn’t another chemical 😢 x

Are you sure the test was positive and not an evap? 7dpo is way too early to be positive. Unfortunately all I can recommend is to wait a few more days and test again to be sure

@Lucy yeah i think it’s a positive, you have to wait 5 mins for the result on the brand i used and by the 3 min mark the line started to appear 🤷‍♀️ make i’ve never had any evaporation lines or false positives with the test i used, ive always used the same brand. clear and simple. i used them when i tested positive with my first baby xx it was a 6 days before your period test. but yet again i could be wrong. just have to wait

the brand was clear and simple, sorry just thought i’d add that cos after re reading what i wrote it sounds a bit rude in other context lol x

It might’ve just been that your hormones were high with the first test and then got more diluted the more you tested

@Katie hoping it’s the case xx thank you

With my second baby I started getting very faint lines around this time on the mom tests so it is possible still. I would wait a few more days and do another test x
