I have PCOS and tried for 9 years to get pregnant finally I did tests to find out why it wasn’t happening and found out I have PCOS my dr gave me medicine to force a period then gave me medicine to force ovulation and I thought it’d take a few months but to my surprise I got pregnant that first month I had my son a year ago and when he was 9 months I got pregnant again without any medicine to help u can message me and I can give u the names of the medicine she gave me
I tried for a year without success and then decide to try conceive plus ovulation support, got pregnant within a month!! That was my last option before going for a fertility treatment and it worked for me so I highly recommend them
FUCK THAT DOC SEC FIND OUT WHAT TYPE OF PCOS YOU HAVE
@Lucy what is conceive plus ovulation support?
There is absolutely things you can do, some doctors are so thoughtless/clueless. Do you have any weight issues? Reducing stress certainly helps, take care of yourself generally. Read up online about it for tips, and after a year of trying you can be put on Metmorfin
Ovusense is good too for people with pcos to give good idea when you ovulate.
Ovasitol is us pcos cysters holy grail!
@Emily no the doctor said he would usually recommend weight loss but ‘I look ok’. Will definitely look at ways to reduce stress, thanks. The doctor also mentioned metmorfin but said he wasn’t going to give it me because I’m trying for a baby?
Metfromin can actually help , even ivf drs prescribe it
List of very practical tips you can start immediately: - take myoinositol supplement - take a pre pregnancy multivitamin - track your cycle, cervical position and fluid to try and identify if/when you’re ovulating - cut down on caffeine, swap for peppermint tea which will help with testosterone - try to cut down on processed foods and alcohol, eg chocolate, white bread etc if you eat that stuff - cut stress where possible (I quit my job and my period came back lol) As others have said, would be good to know your PCOS type and I’d say go to the docs after 6 months!
Some great tips here. Stressing too much about getting pregnant can ironically prevent you getting pregnant. A few ppl I know said the moment they stopped trying, they relaxed and it happened. Hard to do in practice
Because nhs wouldn't help me. I went private for fertility and was referred to fertility nutritionist grace dugdale at balance fertility. If I hadn't met her, I don't think I'd have my little man now. https://www.balancefertility.co.uk/
