Could also ask your doctor to check blood HCG levels
@Jade Jade you angel, you replied to another one of my posts a couple of weeks ago and wished me luck with my tww! 🥰 I have very slight line progression today and finally a positive 1-2 on a CB digital so feeling a tiny bit better! But I’ve been for a blood test today anyway 🤞 my tests are just so much lighter lines than others I’ve seen posted for the same dpo. The nurse today said to chill out as it’s still early but I’m just so fearful after the ectopic! I am in the uk and already booked for 7 weeks scan at EPAU, feels so far away! Xxx
Aww that’s so sweet of you! So glad the tests are looking positive and that you went and got a blood test - you shouldn’t have to sit and worry because with your history you deserve and are entitled to get everything checked that bit closer! You are always going to be fearful, in all honesty I have worried at every stage of this pregnancy so far and think I will til the end (and if I’m honest even after then 🤣), it’s just so hard when you’ve had a rough time with it so don’t be hard on yourself! 🩷
Sorry to hear about your experience. I had an ectopic last year too. If it helps I still had very high HCG levels with my ectopic. Tests can be really inaccurate very early on in pregnancy. If I was you I’d check again in a week - but I totally understand how nerve wracking it is waiting, I did so many tests with this pregnancy (now 22 weeks). Obviously if you feel unwell make sure you get checked over. Not sure if you are UK based but if you are you can self refer to EPAU for an early scan at 6 weeks if you have had a previous ectopic.
