@Vanessa thank you! Over the last two days, my boy has settled on me but woken upon transfer. Today in particular when I gave in and took him back downstairs to play, he didn’t even seem tired, and that was after our sensory class. He has been hitting milestones early so I’m wondering if maybe he’s just ready to drop the nap early too x
I said to myself, right give it ago. My LG wakes about 7ish. I got her to 12 and I gave a bottle before her nap and she was more sleepy, went straight away and slept for 2 hours then i gave her lunch after. Give it ago, doesn’t mean you have to stick with it but see if LO gets on with it better! X
Will do, thank you! Only thing I worry about is being out and about but guess he can always sleep in his pram right? 🤞🏼 will see how it goes x
My boy has been on one nap for a month now and I knew he was ready as bed time was becoming impossible and he was starting to fight his second nap. Our daily routine as follows: 7am awake 10am nap 11am /12pm awake 7pm bedtime Sleeps all night and goes to bed with no issues
@Meaghan thank you. I might follow his cues tomorrow and see where we end up! He’s a bit all over the place with his naps and overnight sleep at the moment x
Let us know how you get on with one nap!
@Vanessa We are at my mum’s so he fell asleep on me, I didn’t manage to transfer sadly (trying to get him used to a travel cot) so put him in his pram and rocked. He’s been asleep since 12.15! So looks like one nap may be the way forward. I’ll see how his sleep goes tonight too 🤞🏼x
Amazing news!!! Hopefully this evening goes well for you too! Xx
My lg went from hour 2 1 hour naps to have 2 30 minute naps and when I’d put her down she’d cry whine and move about the cot before finally giving in and falling asleep. I figured she just wasn’t tired enough for her nap x
