I recently had my boy back in December through c section second baby but requested for obvious reasons from early on and kept pushing for it and there was no problem getting it, I felt nothing once the spinal tap went in was amazed, as last one was a emergency and tote diffeeent experience but rotunda are so nice the whole theatre team where chatting throughout the surgery getting baby out I couldn’t recommend them enough!
@Kym so glad to hear you had such a positive experience! I met with my consultant yesterday and got no push back at all. She was very helpful and understanding and said we’d discuss again at my next appointment. She gave me plenty of information about both types of births and all the risks. Feeling a weight lifted off my shoulders!
I was semi private in the rotunda, requested one, and got a little bit of push back, but got it and it was the best decision for me. Even if there's pushback they absolutely have to give it to you if you ask. A lot of the doctors were open and supportive, good luck and do what you need to feel less anxious, sending you lots of best wishes
