When can you leave babies on stomach sleeping

Little girl is 7 months, been rolling for quite a while now and can do front to back but she prefers to scream to be moved. Issue now is that for the past 3 nights she's taken to rolling in her sleep. I try to move her but she always wakes or cries so I feed her, put her back asleep on her back and she'll sleep again for couple of hours and I'll wake up and she's on her front again!! She actually seems comfy. She's in her next to me still and we're hoping to put her in her own room soon but I'm too worried in case I don't wake and she's on her front

Hi, my daughters 2 in Feb- she used to roll over all the time, (is still and always has been a stomach sleeper) as long as she can roll back do not worry! Is she in a sleeping bag? Just to prevent covers from being pulled above her head, but other than that, by 7 months we put her down on her front cause she would roll over instantly if not anyway x

If she can safely and easily flip, she is fine!

My LO has also slept on his front from being about 2-3 months (I know that's controversial) but he started when he was suffering bad from reflux it's the only way he could get any sleep without being in pain. He always had good enough head control to move side to side and even when he had his arms swaddled inside his sleeping bag (before transitioning him to arms out) he learned how to use the sleeping bag as leverage to toss himself side to side if he needed to. At 7 months they have full head control and in most cases are able to roll themselves so your LO will be fine on her front x

My little girl sleeps on her tummy x

I think the guidance is if they can roll themselves in that position they're OK! Xx

My girl is a tummy sleeper. Shes been able to roll since 4 months so she’s been a tummy sleeper since then. They say it’s fine to let them sleep if they can roll both ways so there’s no point bothering them if they are happy and comfortable

My son (now 3 y/o) slept on his tummy from the age of 4 months as he just preferred it and it was never an issue x
