Is there a point in taking baby items?

So I’m booked in for C-Section for my MCDA twins at 34 weeks. They will need Nicu time for at least a week based on hospital policy. Is there any point in taking stuff for both twins? FTM so this may be a silly question lols!

Hey! Not a silly question at all! I would still take a few bits in for them, my firstborn was 34+4 and after i think a week he was in clothes x

I’d speak to your midwife to find out what your hospital provides but my little boy was in the nicu for a couple days (not a premie) and they provided multiple brands of formula, nappies, secondhand clothes and dummys x

I would take one outfit and a few nappies. Our little one was in an incubator with only a nappy which the hospital provided. I would also take a couple of muslin cloths

Agree with millie to check, but could also take some muslins to use as bedsheets if they do that in your hospital, a blanket each for cot and cuddles. I would take a couple of sleepsuits, but you can usually get secondhand on the units.We were asked to bring in nappies and cotton wool for changing once know the size. You'll want separate things for each twin as they will want to avoid cross contamination. We didn't have twins, but were there for 15w. You could ask your midwife for a tour of tge unit so it's less scary when you first go in

@Charmaine thank you for your reply☺️!

@Millie yeah definitely will! Thanks so much!☺️

@Nikita ok, thank you!☺️
