I just use it as my seat, haven’t been consciously bouncing
I find it so comfortable and use it every evening.
Last pregnancy I was on it constantly drunk all the raspberry leaf tea and other methods and went to 42+1 so I’m just using it now as a seat as it’s more comfortable x
I'm not sure where the idea of bouncing comes from but you can't bounce a baby out of you x

Apparently bouncing doesn't do much for baby's position, but helps us feel more comfy. Apparently it's more about the figure of eight movements and pelvic tilts. I'll try and find the stuff I was reading.
I've used mine since 20 weeks in both pregnancies haha, it's the only place I'm comfortable to sit! If you're using it to help with babies position though, hip rotations/sways are more effective than bouncing
