A bit random, but anyone well versed in toilet seats.

It has bothered me for over a decade now. My inlaws toilet seat every time I sit on it, it falls of. Never had any other toilet seat do this. Anyone know of have a partner who knows how to stop it coming off because I'm so close to actually super glueing it down without telling them 😹😹🫣

Toilet seats are meant to be bolted on to the actual toilet so unless they haven't done that or it's broken don't really know what to tell you tbh, never heard of that before 🤣🤷‍♀️

@Elizabeth Aneiros yeah I don't understand it either. I've never known a toilet seat to do it. I'm wondering if the top bits always been broken and they've just not replaced it even though a new ones not exactly overly expensive. I'm just tired of them blaming me for breaking it when I can't get the thing back on sometimes

They need to get that shit fixed 😂😂 it's definitely broken and they've all got used to sitting on it in some special way! This used to happen to me at work, it was a real easy fix, I have to admit I didn't do it myself... I enlisted the husband but we bought a new toilet seat(I work for charity so we thought we'd take the hit as it wasn't much) and attached that on properly. Last thing you need is a seat slip and bum on rim especially when it's not your own trusted toilet 🚽
