@Ellie I think that's what makes it more frustrating is that I know my body has been through a lot and still is as I breastfeed. We've got a dog so I do min 5000 steps when I'm out walking him. I feel like I'm constantly in a calorie deficit and have started to only eat yogurt and have a cup of tea for breakfast. We live down in Hampshire and unfortunately don't drive so I walk everywhere anyway. I just don't know where this weight has come from
Aw that is so frustrating, it’s a shame as I’m nowhere near and would love a walking buddy too. Do you have partner or family who will look after bubba whilst you do a class? Not sure if you have Bounce down your way but I love the bounce Pilates and they do all sorts. Maybe making it fun and doing a class, meeting people there, I’d say that’s a good idea
@Ellie thank you for the recommendation but unfortunately by the time my partner finishes work, it is dinner and bed time. He leaves about 5am and donest usually return till 5pm. My mum is the only other close family but she doesn't finish work till 6pm so baby free time is practically impossible
Where abouts because I also need a mum friend to do this with
How's your sleep? Maybe don't try do everything perfect and improve one thing at a time. Sleep is a great place to start and gradually introduce weight training and clean up your eating as you go - don't change anything but add in protein. Don't chase a 12 week transformation and focus on the long game of improved health and the self esteem will come etc Xo
@Brydie my sleep is super poor at the moment. By the time I get settled my little girl wakes me up for a feed
Whereabouts are you? I'm trying to lose my baby weight too whilst breastfeeding. Happy to be a virtual help if nothing else :) x
@Rebecca I appreciate it. We're in Hampshire at the moment
This sounds so frustrating! But please remember what your body has been through and give yourself grace. It’s hard to sustain changes especially with baby to look after! I’d say make a realistic plan for steps per day, gym per week if you’re able, and work out calories realistically and maybe find some yummy but lower calorie meals. I’ve been having fruit for desert with a scoop of nutella instead of crisps and sweets. What area do you live?
