C sections 🤍

Recently moved to the area and due my baby soon and giving birth at the QE, previous natural birth & previous c section so asking for a section this time round too due to complications in my two previous births. My only question is at what point will i be given a date from the QE? Thanks so much x

I’m 36 weeks with twins and had a consultant appointment this week where we finalised my birth plan (I’ve been firm about wanting a c-section throughout). They have given me a range of dates spanning a week, and I’ll get a call around a week before to confirm which date exactly it’s booked on and the pre-op appointment. They can’t tell you any sooner as they don’t book them until a week ahead. I’m on edge every day waiting for the call to come through! X

I wasn’t giving a date until the week before. Was giving a week block of dates at my 34 weeks consultant appointment the. They rang me last week to give me my date x
