Trying for second baby?

Is anyone else thinking about trying for a second baby? We had issues conceiving the first time so I don’t want to wait until the “perfect time” because life doesn’t work that simply! I loved being pregnant and absolutely love being a mum, so can’t wait to do it again to be honest.

I want to try for a second it took us a while conceiving first time too but my period still hasn't returned with breastfeeding

I’m in between in my head we can’t afford it and there wouldn’t be enough space and I would worry too much pressure on me and just won’t be able to keep up. But we do miss the newborn stage of the snuggles and how small they are.

@Lauren I think mine has only returned because I replaced the evening feed with formula.

@Bea it’s really hard isn’t it. There is the logical part of you but then the part of you that would love all those newborn snuggles back again!

@Lucy he has had an evening formula one pretty much since birth as he had a feeding plan due to weight loss but he is non stop the rest of the time. I think I will need to cut down more for it to come back

My May baby was my 2nd and we also had trouble conceiving the first time. I wanted a 2nd but my husband wasn’t 100% convinced. It happened on the first try which was amazing but it is hard work. We have 2yrs 9 months between our kids which is lovely (only 1 set of nappies!). Whatever you decide, soak up all the love with your first because your time is split completely when there’s more than one. ❤️

Yeah I have to second what Amanda said! It's HARD work and so true about the splitting time!!! Hope happens for you lovely XX
