Struggling

I’ve 30 +2 weeks pregnant and I’ve been admitted into hospital (3 days ago) due to my placenta coming away from the wall, reduced movements, baby losing weight and my amniotic fluid is reducing. They are keeping me in until 32 weeks where they will be doing a c section (could be sooner if things get worse). This news isn’t the best but I can handle that the bit I’m struggling with is not being able to see my son (3 in February) for all this time and I’m having such guilt because I just want to cuddle and kiss him and be there for him, I’ve only ever spent 2 nights away from him so I’m struggling so much with being away from him, my partner is still having to work otherwise he doesn’t get paid so my son is getting passed around family members during the day and I just feel so guilty 🤦‍♀️ I know I can’t do anything about it but it’s just taking a toll on my mental health

Thats so hard, cant family members keep bringing him in to see you? I'd find this so hard aswell. No other advice, as i can't imagine what you're going through xxx

I’m sorry to hear this and that is a lot you are going through right now! I would hate to be away from my 3 year old. Can your family members bring him to visit you? Just think…it’s really hard now but he won’t remember it. It’s horrible when things are out of your control. You’ll get to meet your beautiful baby soon and can all be together xx

If children aren't allowed to visit (I know it's different depending on where you are) could you do a video call? I know it's not the same and you might think it best not to but worth thinking about..wishing you all the best for babies safe arrival and reunification with your son as soon as x

@Jodie my partner is bringing him on Sunday and then we’re going to work out a little Rota of when people can bring him as I’m missing him like crazy

This sounds so tough, I just want to give you a big hug. Remember it’s only temporary and you’re doing the best you can for your babies ❤️ hopefully you guys can figure out that rota, and know in the meantime he is being well looked after!
