My baby would not eat food and choose milk over anything, mommy overtime. So I can’t speak from experience. But like said above. Obviously pump isn’t as great as baby. But personally, I’d pump in replacement to baby feeding when they normally would to hopefully not loose as much milk supply.. You could honestly probably get it back, or once baby is good. With cluster feeding and lots of cuddles.. but if you don’t wanna worry about the what if… I’d haaka and or pump every 2hrs like usual, or when full
You could contact a lactation consultant for advice
@Kendle I’ve been pumping & trying to get him to nurse longer but it doesn’t seem to be working, so now I’m trying to transition him over to a bottle which also isn’t going well at all. It’s just very frustrating because I was able to breastfeed my first to for a whole year with no problems 🤦🏾♀️
This specifically hasn’t happened, but I haven’t nursed or pumped in almost two months and I still have milk. I’d recommend pumping every 3-4 hours if you can to keep your supply up
