@Madison Beautifully put. Take care
Mine is better since having kids.
My depression made me feel like I had nothing to live for so I didn't really care about much of anything n could be quite reckless with my life but since having a baby I have something to live for I couldn't imagine not being here to watch him grow up, also put into perspective what I could of missed out on if I had succeed when I was being reckless. He is the reason I look forward to tomorrow x

I can't sleep all day like i used to do during bad depressive episodes. Now I have to get up and take care of my daughter instead of wallowing in my sadness and it helps a lot. She's always getting into something or distracting me somehow so I'm not getting stuck in my head and overthinking stuff as much. And when it gets really bad i no longer can tell myself "it will be fine if I'm gone bc there is no one who really loves or needs me". Because even in my darkest moments I realize that she loves me unconditionally and needs me. Even if I can convince myself that her dad would be able to move on, I can never convince myself that she would fully move on from losing her mom. So she gives me the strength and motivation to keep going
