The other will lay in bed with baby and get her to sleep after her story. Once kids are asleep (apart from my 14yr old as she prefers do change in her room) I get the kids clothes out the drawers and onto the sofa as they get changed in the living room in the mornings to help move things quicker. I also put out their toiletries next to clothes, again to stop the running around like a headless chicken in the morning! And bags shoes and coats are packed by the front door.
Mornings are the same. I’m up at 5:30an to sort myself out. I wake up my eldest at 6am and she sorts herself out once up. I get my 10yr old up at 6:30am and help him to get ready. I then leave him to eat breakfast once ready and I pack lunches. I’ll get baby up by 6:50am and sort her out and give her a bottle. Everyone’s out the house at 7:30 am for drop offs. I’ll have a coffee and breakfast once I get into work! Hope that helped x P.s my lunch break is the only bit of peace and quiet I get! I’m usually eating and catching up on a show! 😂
I have 3 kids to usher out the door and drop off aswell as get to work on time so you may not need to be as extra as me 😂 My week starts on Sunday. I’m an early riser so up at the crack of dawn anyway, only Saturday I allow a lay in. Sunday: wash, dry and iron all our uniforms/outfits for the week. All 3 Kids have plastic draws with 5 boxes labelled mon-fri so once I’ve ironed it all goes into them ready for each day to allow seamless mornings. I also meal prep dinner and lunches for the week. I’ll cook a Sunday roast too, and that counts for Mondays dinner/lunch. Night routines are always the same. Kids eat at 6pm shower at 7:15pm in bed by 7:30pm. My eldest has her own routine and is in bed by 8:30pm. Sometimes she go to bed earlier so she can relax watching a movie in bed. I have a shower timer we all stick to so showers are quick. One parent will say goodnight to older 2 and read/listen to them read a book my 10yr always says yes to a book but my 14yr prefers a quick chat!
