Alphabet interest

Anyone else's kid obsessed with the alphabet? Today my son was bringing me little pieces of yarn and wanting me to make specific letters out of them. But when we got to C he got upset and kept saying "no U! No U!" Because it looks like a U sideways. 😂

Yes!! My son. We’ve gotten him all kinds of letters for him to spell. He’ll even use the Scrabble to spell stuff. Highly encourage it.

My daughter LOVES the alphabet and numbers. She uses her speech device and does all of the letters in order.

My son loves the alphabet. Totally obsessed

Omg my son !!! That’s all he plays with he’s obsessed he’s 3 he can read write spell and knows his times tables and adding he makes stories up about letters like they are people and loves fonts ! Search hyperlexia ♥️

My son loves the alphabet, too. Always excitedly points letters out, likes to say his alphabet randomly, loves his alphabet abacus, and vtech apple 🍎 Encourage this interest.

Yes my 4 year old!! Loves the alphabet and numbers. We are in the UK and he really enjoys BBC Alphablocks and Numberblocks

This is called hyperlexia, and the resource “next comes L” is a great resource I’ve used as a tracher! Encourage it mamas! Students with autism can struggle with math and reading comprehension, so allowing your babes to learn how to read early will give them a leg up when they enter school age ❤️

@Kelly-Louise that is so creative!

@Hannah we are ordering him a VTech apple for his birthday!

Mine too! He knows his abc since he turned 2 maybe earlier. He was obsessed since he was 1. He is trying to read now. Obsessed with numbers too. He can count to 23 and to 19 in another language.

My son is three and has been obsessed with numbers. ! He always counts down with the microwave. I have a kindergarten book and he counts to 20 without help.
