Crafts are fun.. if you have any cardboard boxes (I try to hold onto the big ones), let him go to town on it with crayons/markers/stickers Otherwise agree that baking is fun We also made ‘slime’ lately and my little got a big kick out of doing a ‘science experiment’ 🥰
@Tiffany yeah I try baking he like it I also like paying he likes painting too but sometimes I feel like I don’t do enough fun things with him
Simple fun things I do with my son: —hide and seek w teddy bear —chase with tickles —dance party with all the songs w dance moves (aka head shoulder knees toes, etc) — this turns into dance songs about numbers and alphabet and planets I try to pair up visually —chalk outside, painting inside —fort madness, get those sheets out —hot wheels extravaganza all over the house and down the stairs —cleaning house with mom (has a little sprayer and mop and luvs it) —tea parties —“grocery shopping” around the house (we have a cart and play food) — we’re just getting into games like red light/green light, work in progress A lot of the time he’s entertained to just help me do whatever I’m doing in the house and including him, having him help somehow, is thrilling. But when things seem a little too boring a solid ten minutes of chase has him in giggles and it’s the best remedy for boredom
Have you tried baking? Mine loves that!
