Singing to her made up songs about her stinky nappy pulling funny faces etc, always helped for us, now she lays her self down and lets me change her 🤣 I tried to make it a fun interactive activity when she was a baby lol
We started changing mid feed when she came off the first boob/had had enough of her bottle - seemed to be rhe only way to change without her screaming blue murer
Its definitely because theyre just getting used to the world. Theyre probably crying because theyre wet, and the air feels weird and everything is so strange and they dont understand. I realized as my baby got older that when i explained whats going on and saying ok mommies getting ready to do xyz to whatever body part it helped. It definitely goes away with time. My LO is 15 months and he only cries during changing if hes about to go pee and i dont catch it or if the changing stall is out in the open in public. Besides that he is pretty much fine. It got better over time especially the more often i explained whats happening and what im doing.
Omg!! Ditto! I was about to post the same thing. I’m 2weeks PP FTM and my baby is the same. She’s usually calm but nappy changes have been a nightmare🙈 it feels bad seeing her cry so much😢
