Moving to toddler bed
Hi,
My son is 3 years old now and we have another 3 month old baby… We are thinking to move our son to toddler bed from crib…
Any recommendations or suggestions?? Do you think if its right time ?
We are thinking to give our son transition time until we move our baby to crib from basinet …

Yes. I am planning to use same crib.. okk… anything else I should be consider ? I am also planning for potty training for my son
My youngest will be 3 in March, my husband transitioned her crib to a toddler bed about a month ago and I was so worried about taking this step but honestly she’s doing great. I think you should definitely give your son time to transition just in case he doesn’t do well, but you’ve got this momma!

I moved my son over in October, i highly recommend guard rails if they are active sleepers and going in a regular height bed. To avoid them rolling onto the floor.

Do you plan to use the same crib for the baby? If that’s the case I’d do a floor bed or twin off the floor bed I wouldn’t go into a toddler bed. At this point they are getting pretty long for a crib anyway that a twin size mattress would be the best on the floor or on an actual bed frame
