Is your feb baby walking yet

Mine is almost crawling but prefers to butt shuffle every where

No where near. Pulling up to stand but crawls everywhere x

Please don't worry, it's so different, a relative's girl is 18m old and not interested in walking AT ALL. So don't put pressure on yourself at all, it's still very early.

I didn't walk until 16 months old, there's loads of time, my boy isn't walking yet, he'll do like two steps with support but he's not interested, they'll leave you to worry for a bit and then they'll master it overnight.

Just seen this on my feed, my baby is a 2023 baby and he didn’t walk properly and confidently til 18 months. We weren’t worried! They do it in their own time :) he’s now nearly two and running round all over the place! They’ll get there x

@Gabriele every kid is different, it's not a reflection on you as a mum for your kid to walk the latest out of your friend group. Is he meeting all his milestones? I assume you have had or soon will have the 9-12 month assessment with your health visitor, and as long as they aren't concerned, you shouldn't be either. Even sometimes they are concerned only for you baby to hit that milestone the day after the assessment or a week after, etc, still within typical parameters. My cousins baby was walking before 11.5 months old, not long ago he was a mid Jan 2024 baby, and my Feb 2024 baby is just standing up and wiggling on the spot, a bit of supported walking but mostly speed crawling around like the flash, getting into everything you forgot about. Both term babies.

@Elizabeth he was delayed with the review but they said they are not concerned as long as he has the strength needed, also said some questions are silly and suggested I try and speak to him more / read more books but he’s not interested in books and I talk to him all the time

Yeah we started walking 3 weeks ago She turns one next Sunday Every kid is different x My daughter crawled almost 9 months but my friends kids crawled at 4 months and not yet walking. Every baby is different

I know it's tough when so many other kids are hitting their milestones early. I like to remind myself that I never cared what age I walked at or did I talk before Sally down the road and did I use the potty before my cousin and I doubt our babies will either. They are all different and will get their in their own time. Just try and think about all the amazing things they can do now that they couldn't do 6months ago. ☺️

My LG is 12months on 26/02 and is t crawling yet. I was around 4 weeks earlier I am thinking thst may have something to do with her development. It’s hard not to put pressure on yourself because you compare other baby’s at that age.
