Cot bed, crib or Moses basket?

FTM and I’m getting very confused with whether we need a cot bed, crib or Moses basket (or all three?) I’m on a bit of a tight budget so I was thinking maybe a cot bed for our bedroom (just enough space at bottom of bed to fit this) and then a Moses basket for downstairs naps? Or would you recommend just using Moses basket upstairs and downstairs until baby outgrows and then putting up the cot bed? There are so many options and I just have no idea which is best. Ideally I wanted it to last which is why I was thinking straight to cot bed in bedroom as money will be very tight when I’m on maternity leave

You don’t need both a crib and a cot bed, a cot bed is a crib that converts to a toddler size bed. I would recommend a Moses basket for downstairs x

I had a Moses basket to use in the day downstairs and a next to me crib for night, but my little girl slept in the Moses basket at night for probably about 5/6 weeks before she went into her next to me because she hated it 😂x

This is my third and from my past experiences I chose to get a crib and a Moses basket, the Moses basket has a little rocking stand to set it in so I’ll use that next to my bed for the first few months and move it around throughout the day if I need to, I might not get use out of the crib for a few months but it’s nice to have something solid and sturdy to lay the baby down and step out for a minute if you need to breath and are overwhelmed. Also my babies started going on all fours and rocking and moving around too much to be safe in a bassinet or Moses basket around 4 months so that’s when I started using the actual crib

I used a moses basket until 3m old and then transitioned to a next to me forever cot.

We used a moses til nearly 4 months then switched straight into the cot which will turn into a cotbed after
