valentine’s day

I feel like such a bad mum and fiance right now as i can’t get my partner or my daughter a valentine’s day present 🥺. Sadly woke up this morning to be told my money had been stopped. And i really wanted to get my partner a present . Should i feel bad? Is there anything else i could do for them?

Never feel bad for something out of control, your partner understands if he is mature enough and your daughter loves you for you not for what you can afford. Remember family is free and priceless, gifts are just items that can be replaced within time. Do not feel guilty at all especially when you usually do that sweet gesture. Keep being strong mom! You’ve got this :)

@Lauren thank you xx

@Maria no need to thank me! Us moms need to stop being so hard on ourselves when we are doing our absolute best! I understand due to my fair share of guilt when I did not need to. You’re beautiful and a great mom/partner.

You could make a Valentine’s Day card with your little one and gift it to Dad. Or some other sort of arts and crafts stuff. Pinterest will have loads of ideas! Or if you have some simple ingredients at home maybe see if you could make some cookies?
