Bath time question
Hey Mama, so my son has always loved bath time and the pool and all of a sudden he’s been so scared of being in bath time. Which is confusing to us because we’re so used to him, loving the bath and the water in general.
Has this happened to any of you guys?

Not necessarily bath but my son has been scared of everything the past few weeks. Even things he loved like watching the trash truck go by. Now he says scared. He’s scared of the dishwasher now. Everything he says “scared”. He’s also been waking up a ton at night in a panic saying scared. I think it’s just a phase where he’s starting to develop fears and also maybe have an imagination more imagine things that make him scared. Idk I heard it can be common starting around 2. You aren’t alone!
@Megan oh okay! This is good to know because he’s been also saying that he’s scared of things so maybe it is a phase!! I was wondering what was going on.

It’s common and normal for kids to develop fears of something they used to love. Maybe try changing the routine or adding new toys or just changing the way you used to give baths.
